Jesse Lingard - Yes or no? (Bumped thread)
Big yes from me as Benni will be away for a month at AFCON

If it's a reasonable transfer fee for someone who's free in 6 months, then absolutely.

Re: Jesse Lingard - Yes or no?
Oh 100% yes. Only wind-up merchants on here would say otherwise

Re: Jesse Lingard - Yes or no?
all depends on if it stops us also bringing in the striker/left back that we need. otherwise, it's a massive Yes

Re: Jesse Lingard - Yes or no?
It's a yes from me as it was last time.

Not sure you could expect him to have the same massive impact again, though how good would it be.

Nope. Bowen has come on leaps and bounds since his departure.

How is this even a question?

And shock, crossed hammers being a twonk shocker.

Re: Jesse Lingard - Yes or no?
Not bothered tbh. Would rather we went for Toney at Brentford or Broje at Southampton (via chelsea)

Re: Jesse Lingard - Yes or no?
No chance of getting Toney

Re: Jesse Lingard - Yes or no?
I mean, yes, seeing as we know he has a good attitude and fits in well with the squad and with Rahma being away for a month.

That said, it’s not the end of the world if he doesn’t. He started of very well for us, but truth is the second half of his stint here wasn’t all that.

Good option to have though.

Re: Jesse Lingard - Yes or no?
Yes. But there is no chance of ManU selling to us while we are above them.

Re: Jesse Lingard - Yes or no?
They’d prefer £10m than nothing in 6 months.

Our league position will have nothing to do with their decision

Re: Jesse Lingard - Yes or no?
Yes. Seems a nice bloke and he seemed to fit in well. He won't be as good as last time, but that was probably him at his best ever.

Re: Jesse Lingard - Yes or no?
Is that as a consequence of learning from an experienced England international tho?

Re: Jesse Lingard - Yes or no?
I'd like Toney but like the look of the lad at Sparta

RBshorty 2:05 Mon Nov 15
Re: Jesse Lingard - Yes or no?
I reckon they do the opposite. Take the £10 million hit. For the chance of next season Champions League money. The last thing you do is strengthen your opposition. They will most likely have to flog Pogba in January. So any funds from selling Lingard ain’t going to affect them to much. While not getting Champion League footie is the biggest hit they would have to take.
